You cannot work, copy, or iterate on past projects. Projects started before the end of opening ceremonies will not be eligible to win prizes.

Teams can range from 1 to 4 hackers.
No prior experience is necessary. There will be volunteers ready to teach you everything you need! However, if you are looking for something to practice beforehand, it’s helpful to know Git.

All university students of any major are more than welcome to attend BlasterHacks!
A hackathon is an event where people engage in rapid and collaborative software engineering over a relatively short period of time (in this case 36 hours). They are often run by “hackers” who are computer programmers and involved in software development, graphic design, interface design, and other fields related to creating a technical project from scratch.
Yes! BlasterHacks is fully in person this year and will be taking place in Labriola Innovation Hub, 1312 Maple St, Golden, CO 80401.
Indeed there will be! Meals will be provided every few hours (make sure to reach out to blasterhacks@mines.edu if you need any accomodations) and sleeping is permitted onsite :)
